When saving a psychic from a robbery, Mirtes, a cashier at a lottery shop, receives magical numbers as a reward. Skeptical, Mirtes doubts the 'miracle.' Disobeying her, her boyfriend, Múcio, plays the numbers and wins the grand prize in the lottery. But the boyfriend is killed, and Mirtes becomes entangled in a web of schemes to claim the prize in place of the deceased.
